Never
One thing that I will never do is say the word never. Never is a sign of weakness to me. It is like saying the words "I can't". I believe that if people always say the word never they will end up doing the things they never want to do. For example if they say "I will never work at McDonald's". They have more of a possibility working there because they focus more on the negativity and their positivity starts to recede. The word never has a large impact of negativity on what you have to say about something. In middle school a person may say they will never have a boyfriend/girlfriend because their school work is more important. Then, when it actually comes to the high school years they are in a relationship. The only time I would honestly use the word never is when I say this; you never know unless you try.

Paranoid
All day she had been paranoid. Her mother still was not home from work at 7 like usual. It was already a quarter to 9. She tried calling her cell phone but it kept going to voicemail. Then, when she called her job her co-workers said that she did not come in today. She did not know if her mom's boyfriend was home. If he was she did not want to find out. She did not like him, he had a very high temper. Instead of talking to him, she decided to take a walk. They had the woods located in their backyard. Her mom told her that if she is ever feeling down and worried to go back there and find her little rabbit. She loved that rabbit but she was older now and did not want to throw it away. So, she left it in the backyard. But when she looked for him she could not find it. She was sure this is where she had left him.

Teen Club
If I were to open a business I would own a teen club. It would be called The Night Owl. The location would be off of Leavitt road by the tracks and the dollar store in Lorain, Ohio. The age would range from 13-17. Every Friday and Saturday it would be open as a teen night club. The doors would open at 7pm and close 12am. It would cost $5 a person or 2 for $7. There would be different themes each month. The themes would include foam and paint raves, blacklight parties, masquerade, ladies night, etc. On Sundays there would be poetry slams and talent shows. There would be an entry list posted on a bullentine inside the club. It would start at 1pm and end at 6pm. There would be no entry fees and it would be free to come and watch the performances. I would hope that this would be a successful business.

Number One Rule
My number one rule is to be who you are. Don't try to impress other people, especially if you feel uncomfortable with it. For example, if you like something and another person doesn't. Ignore that person, their opinion shouldn't matter. Go for what YOU want not others. You're the one that it effects, not them. If people don't like who you are, then that's their loss. They are the ones that you need to extricate. We don't have to act like someone we're not just to make them happy. That is why we are all made by different mothers and fathers (besides your siblings). To be a part of the "In Crowd" isn't hard to do. But, to be a rebel and be who you really are, now that maybe a challenge. It is a risk. Either pretend to be someone you're not, or show your true colors and be happy doing it. Some people are scared of change. But you never know, change is sometimes good.
